Melissa Franklin, founder the Franklin Law Firm, LLC, is based in Aiken, South Carolina and practices on the areas of Family Law & Divorce, Social Security Disability, and Estate Planning. Ms. Franklin has always had a special commitment to children, so it is not surprising that much of her practice is devoted to family issues.

She also has a strong community involvement and serves a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem, an advocate for children who have no one to look out for their interests during court proceedings. When she is not working or serving as a Guardian Ad Litem, she can be found singing in her church choir or teaching Sunday school.
