Melissa L. Franklin
Melissa Franklin, founder of Franklin Law Firm, LLC, is based in Aiken, South Carolina and practices in the areas of Family Law & Divorce, Social Security Disability, and Estate Planning. Ms. Franklin has always had a special commitment to children, so it is not surprising that much of her practice is devoted to family issues.
She also has a strong community involvement and serves as court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem, an advocate for children who have no one to look out for their interests during court proceedings.
Melissa received her B.S. in 1996 from Charleston Southern University. She graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1999. In 2000, she was admitted to the SC Bar.
Ms Franklin is also a member of the Aiken County Bar and the South Carolina Association for Justice. She is the Second Judicial House of Delegates Representative.
